HOUSING SALES RISE UP A 13% IN CATALONIA DURING APRIL

 Housing sales increased a 13% in Catalonia during April compared to the same month in 2014, according to provisional data of Transmission Property Rights by National Institute of Statistics (INE). So it’s already been seven consecutive months growing these transactions in our region. In total, 4.219 transactions were completed against 3.732 in April 2013. By areas, Lleida has experienced a greater increase, with 18.6%, followed by Barcelona (16.4%), while in Tarragona housing sales grew a 5.1% and only a 2.9% in Girona. In Spain, the increase in April was a 9.4%.

 
Tarragona province registered an increase of 5.1% in April with 552 operations, against 525 during the same month last year. Of the total, 84 apartments were brand new and second hand ones were 468.
 
In Spain, sales rose up a 9.4% in April. The 22.9% were new houses and the 77.1% were second hand.
